KTDC Cafe Politan

Good one from KTDC and at the Calicut beach. Went there during the Kerala Literature Festival in Kozhikode. Food is good and prepared with care. Slightly expensive for the main dishes. Just tried some snacks, sandwiches and butter milk.

Good place to visit and spend some quality time. Snacks and faluda is good. Ambience is great and it's near to the beach. It's easy to visit such places. The staff is friendly and nice service. Best place to chill out in the evening with your friends and family. You can walk around the beach too as it's nearby. Menu is vast and so are the dishes. It was a nice to be there after a long time. Reasonable price and tasty food. Need to visit this place for sure

This is a perfect place to chill in Calicut. Managed by Kerala Tourism Development Corporation or KTDC, this is a high-end cafe with a fantastic ambiance and setting. They serve a limited multi-cuisine menu, including typical Kozhikkodan, rest of Kerala, Noth Indian veg & non-veg, European and some deli-type sandwiches and burgers. The food, for Kozhikode standards, is really good. A quiet place to just relax, read a book or work. They even have a sea-facing co-working space up for rental on hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis. Comfortable seating and soothing colours add to the perfect ambiance.
